THE LIVING SCORE

From Stone To Sky is a 65-acre estate in the Wye Valley National Landscape, where my work across sound, film, landscape and creative direction comes together.

The estate is home to 22 filming environments, production infrastructure, accommodation and a growing programme of landscape and cultural work.

At its creative centre is The Living Score — a forthcoming year of artistic research and development exploring the relationship between harp, electronics, field recording and the changing ecology of the estate.

Alongside it, The Observatory is developing a living archive of the landscape through environmental monitoring, seasonal observation and ecological research.

I am interested in what happens when a place is not simply used as a backdrop, but listened to, documented and worked with over time.

From Stone To Sky is both a physical estate and an ongoing creative practice.
